STI Awareness Day is held two weeks after New Year to encourage people to question their sexual health. Two
weeks is the time after which common STIs such as Chlamydia can be tested for. Around 1-in-12 test positive.
Some STI test kits can be ordered online, such as a chlamydia test from freetest.me and an hiv test from test.hiv.
